Training on the Code
All training is now subject to government guidance on COVID-19
The Code requires that all relevant personnel, including those employed through third parties, must be trained on the Code.
The PMCPA provides face to face training run by members of the Code of Practice Panel and online training (currently being updated) on all aspects of the ABPI Code.

The PMCPA has cancelled the Seminar previously scheduled for June 2020, following government guidance around COVID-19. We are following the situation and will rearrange the training as soon as it is appropriate to do so.
IMPORTANT UPDATE ON ABPI EXAM
The latest Government guidance in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic situation has been duly considered in conjunction with the ABPI approach to the health and wellbeing of candidates and staff, and exam venue operating procedures. As a result, none of the October, November and December ABPI examination sittings will be delivered face to face a originally planned.
Exam bookings will be transferred to the new online exam platform that the ABPI is rolling out. The ABPI is communicating directly with all Candidates currently booked to take examinations across October, November and December.

The Code has specific requirements for Representatives, see Clause 16, including that they need to take and pass an examination. Anyone who needs to extend the time available to take the examination should apply for an extension on the form to the right. Please note that it is preferable if companies do this, not representatives.
